Shanjida Perveen is one of the Finance Officer of Awaj Foundation, Since 2018, she is proud to put her skills at the service of Awaj Foundation. She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Right now she is in charge of the project in collaboration with Foundation for a Just Society : “Improving capacity of Awaj Foundation Staff and Empowerment women in preventing sexual and gender-based violence (GBV)”. She enjoy to work in this project as it says about reducing Gender Gap, discrimination and women empowerment.
She has sound knowledge on financial issues and managing one of the largest project finance in Awaj. Her work at Awaj Foundation consists of :
- managing budgets for respective projects
- managing expenses related to respective projects
- writing financial reports
- face external Audit and fulfil the Audit requirements.
- banking activities
- Controlling and monitoring Finance as per budget allocation.
- when necessary, taking decisions regarding the project implementation in terms of costing and expenditure along with team.
Shandiga enjoys her work at Awaj Foundation because she works with people at the lowest levels of society. She feels proud to be in an organization that defends human rights, fights against gender-based violence, and represents the voice of Bangla women.
