This pilot project aims to reduce gender-based violence (GBV) at a supplier factory in the Gazipur industrial area. The project trains workers and mid-level management members on GBV and harassment at work and the steps that can be taken to combat it. It is also teaching workers and management on the legal provisions on GBV under Bangladesh Labour Law and how they can be implemented. In particular, training is being provided on anti-harassment committees (AHCs) as an accountability mechanism for sexual harassment and gender-based discrimination at the workplace.

By the end of the project, an AHC will be established at the factory and workers will be trained on how to operate and sustain the AHC.
