Momotaz Begum is the President of Awaj Foundation and the acting President of Sommolito Garments Sramik Federation. Since 2008, she has been working as a president of Awaj Fondation. She is a former garment worker and had been working in garment factory for fifteen years.

As president, she oversees the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans, presiding over meetings, develop, enforce and reevaluate company policies and procedures, giving feedback and leading the organization’s planning process.
