Md. Imran Rahman has been working as a Project Coordinator with Awaj Foundation for the last 2 years. He is currently managing the GIZ-funded project “Women’s Café: Promotion of the Social Dialogue in the Industry”. As project coordinator, Imran looks after the coordination and implementation of the project activities as well as monitor and evaluate outcomes against specific standards and provides regular progress reports to the donor. Besides these activities, Imran also provides human rights and labour law training to RMG Workers.
Imran has been working in the development sector for 3 years. His areas of expertise include project management, financial management, concept note and proposal development, monitoring and evaluation and research. He is also well versed in the Bangladesh Labour Law (2006) and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Imran has a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
