Mohammad Arman is working as a Finance and Admin Manager in Awaj Foundation since 2022. He has completed his CA course from Bokhteyar Humayun & Co. Chartered Accountants under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). His major role includes establishing and ensuring proper financial management and accounting processes in management of Awaj Foundation’s policies and procedures as well as national legal requirements and internationally accepted accounting standards. He makes sure that all financial transactions is maintained in a systematic order and a safe and secure condition under the custody of the organization. He is also one of the lead references points on all financial matters of the organization, including formulating financial strategies of all the projects receiving direction and supporting from Executive Director to assess implications of financial issues.

He manages & review procedures for processing income, payments, and payroll, monthly, quarterly and year end accounting including Vat and tax return, bank and cash management, advances and loans and financial policies and procedures. He conducts analysis, periodic/monthly review of financial information in line with donor approved budget and regulations; monitors and evaluates issues and concerns, new opportunities related to financial policies, systems and procedures to support quality implementation of the program and optimal service delivery; and recommends appropriate courses of actions to address the same. With his long-term experience, he supports respective team to revise FD6 and ensure the correct mapping of the NGOAB budget and donor budget; to ensure the timely release of the fund preparing FD2 & FD3 as per NGOAB requirement, respond any quarries raised by NGOAB; to keep liaison with the government officials, liaison advisor to ensure the NGOAB compliance.
