On these 16 days of activism, Awaj Foundation and IWRAW Asia Pacific is calling for individuals and organization to stand together against gender-based violence and sexual harassment in workplace, home and everywhere.It needs no telling that the female workers play a vital role to keep the economy of the country afloat and active. Especially, there’s no alternative to female workers in the case of earning foreign currencies from the Ready-made Garment sector. Still, women are more likely to face oppression, discrimination everyday and even they get less paid.We want respect, recognition, and equal pay for equal work. For this we need to implement the law against sexual harassment at the workplace and need to ratify ILO Convention 190.
